Flexinvest is developing a GPU hosting service line, in a project co-funded by the European Union
Launch notice for the project “Development of FLEXINVEST SRL through the acquisition of tangible and intangible assets”, funded under the Just Transition Programme 2021–2027.
The general objective of the project is aligned with the territorial development strategies for 2021–2027: supporting the transition towards a green, competitive and inclusive economy in regions affected by decarbonisation, through the development of micro-enterprises and the creation of sustainable jobs, in order to increase the capacity of affected local economies to generate durable, secure and attractively paid employment.
A new service line
Acquisition of tangible and intangible assets required to start a new service line under NACE code 6310 — Data processing, hosting and related activities. The project funds high-performance IT equipment and a custom software package, alongside energy-efficiency and accessibility provisions, enabling the delivery of GPU hosting services.
Two new jobs
Hiring two people: a computer network administrator and an assistant manager. One person will come from the following categories: young people up to 29, people over 55, women, or people from disadvantaged categories. One person will attend a Network Administrator qualification course.
Energy efficiency
Concrete environmental measures through the use of renewable energy: installing a photovoltaic system, a heat pump and an energy-efficient air conditioning unit.
Completion of the acquisition and installation of the tangible and intangible assets required to start the new activity under NACE code 6310 — Data processing, hosting and related activities.
Creation of two new jobs: a computer network administrator post and an assistant manager post, required for the new service line to operate.
Installation of a photovoltaic system using renewable energy, a heat pump, and an energy-efficient air conditioning unit.
The project is a strategic investment, aligned with the objectives of the Just Transition Programme 2021–2027 and with the principles of sustainable development. By developing a GPU hosting service line in a region affected by decarbonisation, the project contributes to diversifying the local economy and to creating skilled jobs in information technology.
